Membership
Fairview Grace is a friendly, open congregation of
the United Methodist Church. We welcome all people regardless of
prior affiliation. The Methodist Church believes God's grace
is freely given to all. We offer many opportunities for spiritual
growth through Worship, Bible Study, Sunday School for all ages, and
Prayer Ministry. Putting love and faith into action locally as
well as globally is a tradition of the Methodist Church and of our
congregation. We invite you to visit Fairview Grace and consider
walking with us on your faith journey.
Our Sunday School Hour
for adults and children is at 9:30 AM. Morning Worship is at
10:30 AM. Following the Children's' Sermon child care is available for the
younger children. All are welcome to study and worship with us. |

Summerfest
Summerfest is a community outreach program
sponsored by the City of Fairview Park. Fairview Grace Church participated
for the first time in July, 2007. From our booth members of the
congregation distributed information about our church, ran a fishing game for
children (every child was a winner) and sold bottled water and juices. It
was a wonderful opportunity for members of the community to learn about our
church and meet some of our church family. |

Fairview Hunger Center
The Hunger Center is located at 21139 Lorain Road Room #4. It is open Tuesday and
Friday from 1:00 - 3:00 pm for Clients and Donations. The center serves
Fairview Park residents only. The Outreach committee has a
barrel located in our church lobby to receive donations. There is always a
need for staples such as: small boxes of cereal, spaghetti, noodles, spaghetti
sauce, peanut butter, bars of soap, toilet paper and paper towels.

Piece-Makers
The piece-makers members work from their own
homes to crochet and knit baby hats for newborns at Fairview Hospital.
There are no meetings and the work is done at your convenience. We would
welcome you to join us in this rewarding project. Yarn and instructions
are provided. All hats are delivered in the name of the Church as a
Mission Outreach Project.
Anyone interested in joining our group, please
feel free to take instructions and yarn. If you have any questions, please
call Sharon Bowles, 440-734-4182. |

Laura's
Home
For the past two years our Church has provided Easter
Baskets for 50 women and children who reside at Laura's Home,
a shelter for women and children involved in domestic
violence situations. The home is affiliated with the City Mission. The baskets
contain useful items appropriate for the residents of the shelter. Additional
baskets are also provided by Rockport and North Olmsted United Methodist
Churches. |

Adopt a Family
Program
Each Christmas Fairview Grace participates in
the Salvation Army's Adopt a Family Program. Usually we provide Christmas
gifts for a family with children, a senior citizen and also a veteran.
Members of the congregation purchase gifts as requested by the recipients.
It's a rewarding program for all who participate.

Fairview Grace
Festival
Our first Festival was in August, 2007.
It was held on the lot beside the church and offered bands, food, face painting,
miniature golf, a giant rummage sale and a host of other activities. We
hope to make it an annual event. |
