Prayer Warriors

This group was formed in our church on June 24th, 2007 to launch  a new fifty day prayer ministry based on the book,  Acts 29, Fifty Days of Prayer to Invite the Holy Spirit by Dr. Terry Teykl.   Members of the group are continuing to meet at 7:30 PM Wednesday evenings to pray that the Holy Spirit be present in our church and move us in new and bold ways.  The group is always open to new members.  Come as you are able.  The group accepts prayer requests.

 

In 1972 Reverend Evans, Dorothy Bean, Mary Poplstein and 10 other members of the church met at the home of Lillian Kreuger to organize a Prayer Chain. It was a very private and confidential group. They received prayer requests related to finances, family problems, drugs, sickness, employment and so on. These requests were never discussed outside the Chain or within the Chain.

The prayer ministry continues to be vital to our faith community.  A group of dedicated members pray daily for all needs made known to them. If you would desire prayer please contact the Church Office  at fairviewgraceumc@sbcglobal.net or phone 440-779-5414.

The prayer chain can always be strengthened by adding more volunteers.  There are no meetings - just your time to offer prayer requests and make a phone call to link the next person on the chain.  If you are interested in joining us you may the call the church office.
